Rob Waldman, from Atlanta, GA graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1990 with a B.S. in Human Behavior and Leadership. He received a Masters of Business (MBA) in Organizational Behavior from Phillips University in Oklahoma. He completed pilot training at Williams AFB, AZ in 1990 and was assigned as a T-37 instructor pilot at Vance AFB, Oklahoma. Following his transition to the F-16, he was recognized as Instructor Pilot of the Year and Air to Ground Top Gun.
During his Air Force career, he flew operational tours in South Korea over the De-Militarized Zone (DMZ) and in Iraq 's "No-Fly Zone" after the first Gulf War. He later flew combat missions in Yugoslavia during Operation Allied Force. During his overseas tour, he completed sixty-five (65) combat missions.
Rob received several military honors including (5) five Air Medals, (2) two Aerial Achievement Medals and (4) four Air Force Commendation medals.
Upon his return to the states, he was reassigned to Shaw Air Force Base, SC where he managed a three hundred (300) person organization responsible for training and logistics. While at Shaw he was recognized by his peers as Top Flight Lead.
"Waldo" has since formed The Patriot Group which provides leadership and sales consulting for corporations to motivate their employees via Keynote Speaker programs and Team Building . He continues to provide liaison to the United States Air Force Academy as a recruiting officer for the academy.
Lt. Col. Waldman has accumulated over 2,650 flight hours which includes the F-16.
